Workplace Violence Prevention Training

Keeping your food bank safe is a top priority. Join us for Workplace Violence Prevention Training, where you’ll learn to recognize and respond to potential threats in the food bank setting. 

Topics include: 

Types of workplace violence common in food banks, including client-to-client, client-to-staff/volunteer, and active shooter situations

Recognizing behaviors of concern 

Domestic violence in the workplace and how to respond if someone may be experiencing abuse - Prevention strategies and reporting procedures 

Emergency response protocols 

Zoom details will be shared closer to the training date.

Ensure you and your team are prepared to maintain a safe environment for everyone.

About the speaker:

Eric Gislason is the Executive Director, CEO of NASP. He is also one of the principal trainers, specializing in OSHA compliance and development of workplace safety culture.

Eric has over 33 years of experience in the EHS field, having trained individuals from across the spectrum on OSHA/EPA compliance including manufacturing, oil and gas, construction, warehousing, healthcare, and retail.

Eric is an authorized OTI instructor for General Industry with a degree in Environmental Science and holds CHMM, CSD, and MSP certifications. Eric is also responsible for safety and environmental inspections, safety SOP development, and ISO auditing.
