Basics of Non-Profit Financial Management

Description

Rising Sun Accounting will be presenting on the basics of Non-Profit Financial Management. This presentation will cover Non-Profit Accounting, including the Chart of Accounts, tracking restricted funding sources, financial reporting, and accounting software. In addition, we will discuss budgeting & planning, non-profit taxes, and financial policies and internal controls. The presentation will be 30-45 minutes with time for Q&A afterwards. It will be accessible and geared towards staff and volunteers who don't have a lot of financial experience. Come ready to learn and bring your non-profit financial questions! Rising Sun Accounting provides accounting, bookkeeping, payroll, and tax services to non-profit organizations. Rising Sun Accounting primarily works with organizations in WA State, and they are passionate about providing high-quality outsourced accounting services to non-profits, so staff can focus on their organization.

This training is supported by the Statewide Technical Assistance and Training Grant through the Washington State Department of Agriculture, Food Assistance.
