From Stories to Impact: A Ripple Effects Mapping Introduction

Wednesday, May 6, 2026 (2:00 PM - 3:30 PM) (PDT)

Description

Ripple Effects Mapping (REM) starts with storytelling in a group setting, which then leads to a mapping process. The group builds upon each other’s stories, while the facilitator maps the accomplishments, partnerships, and unique contributions identified by participants. By visualizing the learning, actions, and condition changes that happened as a result of a program, REM can show where there are multiple ripples and clusters of activity. This process gives you the ability to understand the direct and indirect impacts of your work, and it’s engaging and fun. We are offering a free 90-minute introduction to Ripple Effects Mapping (REM). This webinar will include a short REM demonstration and then you’ll learn about the benefits, core components, and resource about how to conduct your own Ripple Effects Mapping event. This is an engaging, proven, and reliable process for gathering in-depth stories that help you understand program impacts, plan for the future, and show you how these outcomes have rippled out through your organization or community.
