Description

Join Susan Shelton, Public Health Advisor for the Washington State Department of Health for a session that will cover food safety practices for food banks and pantries that receive bulk or near-date foods. Participants will learn how to safely repurpose donated items—such as turning stale bread into croutons—while managing food safety risks, maintaining quality, and reducing food waste.
